Small games about big systems.
SimLab Arcade is an independent collection of browser games that turn ideas from economics, management, marketing and everyday working life into quick, replayable challenges. No downloads, no accounts, no ads โ just open a game and play.
Every game explains its objective in a sentence and scores you with a single number.
Mechanics are simple and transparent, so a result tells you something about the system โ not about hidden dice.
Runs last minutes, not hours. Daily challenges, records and leaderboards give each visit a new target.
Why simulations?
Many important effects are easy to state and hard to feel: small advantages compounding into inequality, technical debt quietly eating a team's capacity, a few angry customers undoing a campaign, meetings fragmenting a working day. Playing with a system โ and losing to it โ makes those effects stick far better than reading about them.
The games
The catalogue currently has games across arcade, strategy and management genres. See how every game works โ
Leaderboards & comments
- Each game has a public top 20 and a comment section on its leaderboard page.
- Pick a nickname to submit your personal best. You can also opt in to sending new records automatically after each run.
- Scores are checked for plausible ranges and submissions are rate-limited. Obviously fake or abusive entries may be removed.
- Be kind in the comments: no personal data, spam or harassment.
Privacy
- There are no accounts and no tracking cookies.
- Your progress, streaks and nickname are stored only in your browser (
localStorage). Clearing site data resets them. - Only what you choose to publish โ a nickname with a score, or a comment โ is sent to our server and shown publicly.
A note on realism
The games are inspired by real research and real workplaces, but they are simplified for play. In particular, ER Triage Simulator is not medical training, and none of the games is financial, management or medical advice.
